What are the symptoms of Skin Cancer?

Different types of skin cancer can look different. The most common symptoms are:

1. New dots or spots are different from elsewhere on the surrounding skin.
2. Lesions that are itchy, sore or inflamed.
3. Pain that does not heal.
4. Moles or dots that become larger, change shape or color.

Note the moles that:

1. has parts that are not equal to other parts
2. have irregular or obscure regional borders
3. colorful or uneven color distribution
4. greater than 6 mm or greater over time
5. appear to the surface of the skin with irregular shapes
